ANZEG Extensions is an autonomous group of

individual guild members working under the

ANZEG umbrella. They come from all around

New Zealand.

Extensions members, working as individuals or in groups, have joined the group because they choose to ‘extend’ themselves with design challenges, workshops using new techniques and materials and developing their design and embroidery skills. Many areas have an Extensions group which meets on a regular or semi-regular basis for classes and sharing skills and techniques.

A coordinator, elected by Extensions members, organises an exciting day of speakers and a variety of challenges and workshops on Extensions Day which is held at each biennial national conference.

The coordinator also arranges an exhibition in the off-year to conference and produces emailed newsletters which help connect the group’s approximately 100 members together.

Extensions is open to any guild member who wants to join
