About Felicity:

Felicity is a founding member of South Taranaki Stitchcraft Guild and comes from a family of embroiderers. She is mostly self taught and enjoys creating her own designs.

She is a past editor of Threads magazine, a role she held for 10 years. She also wrote a 240 page book about embroidery called The Decorative Stitch: 200 years of NZ embroidery.

Her current passion is stitching with handmade felt. This was inspired by trips along the Silk Road to China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan and India.

Felicity enjoys helping students create their own original interpretation of her designs.
